EMERGENCY FUND

Though intellectually aware of the physical dangers, few military families are financially prepared for the expenses that amass when a service member is severely wounded, or killed, while serving our great nation.

The Emergency Fund was established to provide a rapid financial response to the families’ immediate and urgent needs, including funds to cover such expenses as utilities, rent or mortgage payments, automobile payments, and even food.

Your contribution to this fund enables FREEDOM IS NOT FREE to assist these families during the initial crisis period giving them the time and space they need to care for their loved ones, mourn a tragic loss and get their Department of Defense and veteran benefits in place.
